The IAAF Points tables allow comparison of performances across events and have been used for several years now by the GIAAC as a measure of how Guernsey’s top 15 athletes compare against each other and also to previous years. Only the best performance by each athlete is listed.

GIAAC has released the year end rankings for 2016 performed by Guernsey qualified athletes. Jason James got his 2016 winter off to a good start with a well paced victory in the opening FNB XC race of the 2016/17 season, run over three laps of the Delancey Mile loop. Reigning women's champion Sarah Mercier ran strongly for a top ten placing in a 150 strong field.
